Easily Sharing Your Photos

Sharing Photos

If you already have your digital pictures and you want to get them printed, or make a photo album to share with friends, you have your work cut out for you. First you need to find a service that suits your needs and fits what you are looking for.

There are a lot of excellent services out there, including Shutterfly, Snapfish, Kodak EasyShare Gallery, Baby Jelly Beans, and numerous others. They all have their own tools to make it easy to upload your pictures, organize them, and then choose which ones you want to print or share.

There are also software tools that makes the process a lot easier and works directly on your system to help you organize your photos, easily modify them, and share them. I personally like ACDSee for this purpose. I use the professional package Adobe Photoshop to modify my photos, but ACDSee makes it real easy to browse through the photos on my machine and quickly rename them, move them, and lots of other things. Wouldn't it be nice to organize your photos like an expert? Download ACDSee8 today.

Digital Cameras

Digital Cameras have become more and more popular in the past decade. You can skip the process of scanning photos to send them over the internet, plus you can take many more photos and then choose which ones to print.

Even cell phones can take photos, although those are so poor in quality that they are only useful for sharing experiences with friends and assigning friends photos to address book entry so their picture shows up when they call you.

There are so many different types out there, but I recommend getting one that utilizes the SD Card format, if only because it is very quick to save to them, letting the camera save the photo really quick, allowing you to take multiple pictures one after the other.

I personally have a Canon SD200 3.2 MegaPixel Digital Elph camera. In my usage of them, I don't see any point in having anything more than a 3 MegaPixel camera since those make execellent prints while still using up a small portion of the SD Card for each shot. Of course, it doesn't have image stabilization like the latest Canon SD700 6 MegaPixel Digital Elph camera.

Some people are much more into photography and appreciate being able to have much more control over how the picture is taken, including the ability to add attachable lenses like with the Canon PowerShot S2 IS 5 Mega Pixel camera that my wife has or the Canon Rebel XT 8 Mega Pixel camera that some of my friends use.

Of course, Canon is not the only reliable brand out there with quality products, it just happens to be our brand of choice.
